We Tried It: Brush-On Eyelash Extensions
The brand's Black Magic Lash Boost ($35; eyeko.com) promises to pump up both the volume and length of natural lashes by way of teeny-tiny cellulose fibers that cling to wet mascara. So with high hopes, I took a tube for a test drive.
After applying mascara as normal, I used the applicator stick to transfer the fibers to my lashes.
It involved a little trial and error, but I discovered the best way to avoid fibers flying every which way was to give the wand a few quick taps to shake off the excess.
Per the directions, I finished by sealing the fibers with another coat of mascara.
Sorry, falsies: I've officially converted to fibers.
