Television productions that film in Georgia are shutting down production due to Hurricane Irma.

In preparation for the approaching storm — which has been downgraded from a category 5 Hurricane to a tropical storm — AMC has temporarily paused shooting on The Walking Dead and upcoming dramedy Lodge 49, which both film in Atlanta.

Similarly, The CW's The Originals, which also films in the Peach State, is shuttering production until Warner Bros. — the vampire drama's studio — deems it safe to start back up again.

It's worth noting that this is the second time this year that The Walking Dead has halted production on its eighth season.

The hit zombie drama temporarily halted production in July following the tragic death of stuntman John Bernecker.
