And now Spanish publication El Mundo are reporting Ronaldo, 32, has split from his long-term lawyers Baker McKenzie.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has now reportedly hired José Antonio Choclán under the advice of super agent Jorge Mendes.
Choclan also represents Mendes, but also United boss Mourinho which has sparked rumours he is heading back to Manchester.
Mundo Deportivo claim Choclan is well known for negotiating tax sentences and could show Ronaldo is willing to give up the fight against the Spanish authorities.
And that could see Ron leave 11-time Champions League winners Real to make a return to England.
Video released today showed Ronaldo hinting that he would return to the Prem as he never had problems when he lived there.
