'It's a Serious Situation': Fitton, Jarrett Weigh In on New Uranium One Scrutiny
Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett and Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton weighed in Thursday on the renewed scrutiny into the Uranium One investigation by the Justice Department.
The Justice Department is reviewing the prior FBI investigation into the deal, which gave Russia partial control of the U.S. uranium supply.
Fitton said the actions of the DOJ and FBI must be reviewed with respect to how Clinton investigations were treated compared to how the Trump-Russia dossier was handled.
He said FBI agents sought subpoenas to look into Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation, but were blocked by senior officials.
"You have suppression of a Clinton investigation on another matter, with this over-the-top, Clinton campaign-funded attack on President Trump that the FBI took like a baton from the Clinton camp and ran with," said Fitton, referring to the dossier.
