Forest Confirm Karanka Appointment
This last hour Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Aitor Karanka as the new manager of the club.
His managerial career began as the coach of Spain's Under 16 side before being named as Real Madrid's assistant manager in June 2010, where he worked under Jose Mourinho and the two have remained close friends since.
In his playing days he represented Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid, lifting three Champions League titles whilst at the Bernabeu.
