“If they aren’t shithole countries, why don’t their citizens stay there?” Lahren tweeted. “Let’s be honest. Call it like it is."
In a meeting with lawmakers, Trump reportedly referred to immigrants from Haiti and African countries as coming from “shithole countries,” according to the Washington Post, and said the U.S. should bring in more immigrants from countries like Norway.
Lahren joined several other conservative media personalities defending Trump for the remark.
